Digital Graphic Design Work Samples
Presented for FCPS at the Nancy Sprague Technology Center
9/20/2023

My name is Annamaria

My journey in design started in 2017 when a course at George Mason University kindled my passion for graphic design. But even before that, my global travels as a child exposed me to art, animation, and diverse stories, shaping my love for illustration and character design.

Having collaborated with esteemed organizations like PBS NewsHour Classroom and non-profits like Learning Starts Early, I've honed a specialty in K-12 media. My designs aim not just to captivate but to deeply resonate with their audience. This combination of experiences, fueled by my dedication to education, brought me here today, excited to potentially join the Fairfax County Public Schools' Nancy Sprague Technology Center."

Saint James' Episcopal Church

Web Design, Development & Management

Saint James' Episcopal Church (SJEC), located in the heart of Warrenton, Virginia, has been a staple of the community since 1853. With a rich history and a commitment to serving others, SJEC offers a variety of opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, and community building. In 2020-2021 parishioners were unable to attend services due to the pandemic. Despite these challenges, the church continued to strive to bring its resources and community to its parishioners through its online presence on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and a newly designed website, to better serve the community and its members. Recognizing the need to enhance user experience and address feedback received from the community by the church staff, I proposed and executed a website redesign project for SJEC.
